4 3 9 34 96 219 435…

May be this question is to identify the wrong number in given series...

Next Number    -->   ( ( (Position of a current number in the sequence)^3 ) – 2 ) + current number

4:            1^3 – 2 + 4           -->   3 (next number in the sequence)

3:            2^3 – 2 + 3           -->   9

9:            3^3 – 2 + 9           -->   34

34:          4^3 – 2 + 34          -->   96

96:          5^3 – 2 + 96          -->   219

219:        6^3 – 2 + 219         -->   433

So, the last number should have been 433, instead 435.
