What is the length of the rectangle ABCD?

I. Area of the rectangle is 48 square units

II. Length of the diagonal is 10 units

This can be solved using both the statements.

As from statement I, we know that L × B = 48 or B = L/48.

From statement II, we have,

L2 + B2 = 100.(using pythagoras theorem)

or, L2 + (L/48)2 =100.

L is the only unknown in this equation and can be found out.

L= 99.95661 = 100

L = 10

Option A is the Correct Answer.
