The word “Former” means “of an earlier time/ belonging to the past. so the opposite word should be “Latter” which is used to refer to happening at the end of any activity.

  • Earlier: “happening or done before the usual or expected time”.(comparative degree of early)
  • End: “finish/stop”
  • Neutral: “not saying or doing anything that would encourage”
