Six products $\text{U, V, W, X, Y}$ and $\text{Z}$ are to be placed in display windows of a shop. There are six display windows numbered $1,2,3,4,5$ and $6$ and one product is to be put in one window. Moreover $\text{U}$ cannot be immediately to the left or immediately to the right of $\text{V, W}$ must be immediately to the left of $\text{X, Z}$ cannot be in window number $6 .$

If $\text{X}$ is placed in window no.$3. \text{ W}$ must be placed in which window ?

• A. $2$
• B. $1$
• C. $4$
• D. $5$

Answer 1

$W$ must be immediate to the left of $X$, if $X$ is placed in window number $3$ then its immediate left is window number $2$.

Option (A) is correct.
