Look carefully for the pattern, and then choose which pair of numbers comes next.

$2 \: 3 \: 4 \: 5 \: 6 \: 4 \: 8$

  1. $9 \: 10$
  2. $4 \: 8$
  3. $10 \: 4 $
  4. $ 9 \: 4$

This is an alternating addition series with a random number $4.$
interpolated as every third number. In the main series, 1 is added, then 2 is added, then 1, then 2, and so on.

option D is right

2 is jumped by 2 unit, and is added with +3 to get next number

3 is jumped by 2 unit, and is added with + 3 to get next number

4 is jumped by 2 unit and is added with +0 to get next number

The pattern follows, so D is right
