Best answer
Elections Votes cast Votes not cast
NGE 260,000 - 1.25x 1.25x
AP 260,000 - x x

From the given conditions,

$(260,000 - 1.25x) - 1.25x = 2(x - (260,000 - x ))$

$\implies 6.5x  = 7,80,000$

$\implies x = 1,20,000$

So, number of people voted for the Praja Party in the Assembly Elections $= 2,60,000 - 1,20,000 = 1,40,000$
