We know Trade deficit = Import - Export

In 87-88 Trade deficit = 17.5 - 13 = 4.5 billion dollar

In 88-89 Trade deficit = 19.5 - 13 = 6.5 billion dollar

In 89-90 Trade deficit = 21 - 17 = 4 billion dollar

In 90-91 Trade deficit = 24.5 - 18.5 = 6 billion dollar

In 91-92 Trade deficit = 20 - 18.5 = 1.5 billion dollar

In 92-93 Trade deficit = 22 - 18.5 = 3.5 billion dollar

In 93-94 Trade deficit = 23.5 - 22 = 1.5 billion dollar

In 94-95 Trade deficit = 27.5 - 24.5 = 3 billion dollar

In 88-89 year  the trade deficit was greatest.
