In $1994$, placed Finance students = $23\% \times 1100 = 253$

∴ $253$ students earned a total of $Rs.7,550 \times 253 = Rs. 19,10,150/month$ in the year $1994$.

In $1994$, placed Software students = $21\% \times 1100 = 231$

∴ $253$ students earned a total of $Rs.7,050 \times 231 = Rs. 16,28,550/month$ in the year $1994$.

∴ In $1994$, students seeking jobs in finance earned $Rs. 2,81,600 \times 12 = 33,79,200$ i.e. $Rs. 33.8 lakh$
