From statement 1 :-
Radius is given, hence '2 * radius' will be diagonal of square. Therefore, we can find area of square.
From statement 2 :-
In the statement, tangent only touches circle at a single point, hence 5 cm is actually radius of the circle. Thus, we can find diagonal of the square and finally we can obtain the required area.
