Julia and Angelina are team members in a project. Whenever Julia approaches Angelina for some work-related discussions. Angelina replies to her rudely and does not seem willing to participate in the discussion. What can Julia do to solve the problem

  1. Complain about Angelina's behavior to the supervisor.
  2. Tell Angeline to stop behaving rudely.
  3. Talk to Angelina and try to find out the reason for her behavior.
  4. Stop having any discussions with Angelina.

You have to rank these conculsions in order of your preferences

  1. 3 2 1 4
  2. 4 2 1 3
  3. 2 1 3 4
  4. 2 3 4 1

For these questions never consider any assumptions. Just consider the merit and demerit of each of the options:

  1. Can help in getting a new team mate and also let the manager know of the issue. A possibility but most probably will ruin the relationship with Angelina as a side-effect
  2. Might work, though less chance of success. Still, it should be preferred to option 1 as it has less side-effects
  3. Should be most preferred because there is no side-effect and has a good chance of success
  4. This means you have to do all work on own and not good in a team project. Should be the last preferred option.

So, $3 > 2 >1>4$
