A bakery owner use to mark the cost of cake Rs.25 more than the cost of making. If the cost of making the cake is reduced by Rs.25, accordingly he offered a discount of 25% on the marked price of cake. If he still makes a profit of 25%, what is his initial cost price?

(a) Rs.50  (b) Rs.75

(c) Rs.100  (d) Rs.125

ans  is 100 rs.

as initialy cp= x

mp=x+25

 now

mp1=x+25

cp1=x-25

d= 25%

125/100= .75*(x+25)/(x-25)

x=100
