1.

  • The Green ball must be hidden under cup 5. - Options 1, 2 eliminated.
  • The Red ball must be hidden under a cup immediately adjacent to the cup under which the Magenta ball is hidden. - Option 5 eliminated.
  • The Purple ball must be hidden under a lower numbered cup than the Orange ball. - Option 4 elminated.

So, answer is 3.

2. Answer is choice 3, 3 because red and magenta are neighbours and 5 is already taken by green.

3. Choice 5 - yellow.

Green is under 5. Since Red and Magenta are neighbours they cannot come under 6. Then Purple must come under a lowered number one than Orange meaning it cannot come under the highest number 6.

4. Choice 5 - 6. Orange must come under a higher numbered one than Purple and Green is already under 5.

5. Choice 3 is always TRUE same reason as for question 3.

6. We get

1 2 3 4 5 6
Purple Orange     Green Yellow

Red and Magenta must be neighbours. So, they take positions 3,4 and Yellow takes 6.

So, only possibility among choices is Choice 1 - Green and Magenta.

7.

1 2 3 4 5 6
Magenta Red     Green

The Purple ball must be hidden under a lower numbered cup than the Orange ball. So, Orange cannot be under 3 - it must be under 4 or 6. So, Green and Orange must be neighbours. Choice 1.
